With winged shoes, a cloak of invisibility, a sword and a mirror Perseus sought to slay the “monster” Medusa. No man would dare to look into her face nor gaze upon the massive tangle of snakes that made her hair for if he should he would be turned to stone. Once, she was beautiful, but in a fit of jealous and rage another woman sent her into a life of a monster.
